Men’s Retreat 2013

Sunday Worship

Sunday worship begins at 9:30 AM in the Verde Worship Center! It’s a glorious time as we worship our awesome God with great music and sound preaching from His Word with Pastor Robb Williams at the pulpit. All are welcome, and Children’s Church is offered for kids age 4 – grade 4 during the service.

Join us Easter Sunday as Pastor Robb begins his new study, The Gospel of Grace, in the book of Galatians. From 6:30-7:45 AM in the Verde Gym will be our FREE pancake breakfast, followed by our first service at 8:00 AM. At 10:00 AM will be our second service, followed by an egg hunt for kids! We hope you will come and worship with us our risen Savior!

Want to be an All Pro Dad?

We want to help!

What is All Pro Dad? All Pro Dad is Family First’s innovative program helping men to be better fathers. On Saturday, January 26, Verde Baptist Church will host an All Pro Dad Simulcast. This unique event is designed with fathers of elementary aged children in mind. Fathers and children will be guided through age appropriate football drills designed for fathers to encourage and challenge their children.

Sound like fun? We think so too, and want to encourage you to join us in the Verde Baptist Gym from 1:00 – 3:30 PM (come around 12:30 for game day snacks!), and bring your elementary age boys and girls!

The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for kids, and only $15 per family (maximum) and can be paid at the door on the day of the event. There is also a table in the Worship Center Hallway if you would like to sign up on Sundays.

Team up with Tony Dungy to hone your skills as a husband and father, while giving your children a day they will always remember. This unique event was created with fathers of elementary-aged children in mind. Kids will be guided through age-appropriate football drills designed for fathers to encourage and challenge their children. You’ll hear from Tommy Bowden, Mark Merrill, Lorenzo Neal, Clark Kellogg, and Hunter Smith. Tony Dungy concludes the event with a message about his relationship with Christ and its impact on his life as a husband, father, and coach.

Candlelight Service
