Where Your Heart is, There Goes Your Life
I don’t know what would make you rush through your day. Maybe anticipating a tractor pull, the symphony, a Suns game, or a lovely night out for dinner. There is, however, no doubt that if we have our heart set on a particular end of the day event, we will (with excitement and vigor) take off all our dirty daily clothes, dress up nice, and run out the door.
Similarly, being consumed with the glory of God will make us take off the dirty and put on the clean like we could never do otherwise. Let’s put our eyes past the “taking off the dirty” or the “putting on the clean”, but rather let’s place our minds and our hearts where we want our lives to go. Our lives will follow.
